Surveying faculty and graduate students – IDEA and specific collections
Wednesday May 21, 2025 9:30am - 10:10am CDT
During the course of 2024, I created (with the assistance of Jessica Kleekamp/team and colleagues) a four-question Qualtrics survey for faculty and graduate students in Anthropology and P&BS. The survey sought feedback on the alignment of my subject collections with the Libraries' IDEA statement regarding collections. The session covers the creation of the survey, an explanation of Net Promoter Score based results, attendee review of the raw data (attendees are provided the data and then discuss their interpretations of the data), and suggestions on utilizing surveys to solicit exhibit partners.

Working Together to Build a More Neuroinclusive WashU Libraries
Wednesday May 21, 2025 1:00pm - 1:40pm CDT
Academic libraries are striving to become more neuroinclusive for employees, but this is a challenge when many neurodivergent employees do not disclose their neurodiversity and/or related challenges in the workplace. In this open discussion, you will have the opportunity to discuss challenges you have experienced OR perceived in the WashU Libraries system, along with potential neuroinclusive solutions. A handout will be provided to participants that highlights common exclusionary practices in the workplace, along with a variety of inclusive solutions, to aid with the discussion.
